Strawberries

Strawberriescontain more vitamin C than other berries. Just one cup of strawberries provides 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C for adults. Strawberries are also good sources of manganese, iodine, potassium, and folate. Fiber helps regulate digestion, reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, and possibly reduce risk of some cancers.

Some of the health benefits of strawberries include the following:
 
Eye Care.  The anti-oxidants such as vitamin-C, Flavonoids, Phenolic Phytochemicals and Elagic Acid, present in strawberries can help to avoid this situation to a great extent. Strawberries are helpful as they contain potassium, which help maintain right pressure.

Brain Function.  The vitamin-C and the phytochemicals in them neutralize the effect of these oxidants and also rejuvenate the nerve system. Strawberries are rich in iodine too, which is very helpful for proper functioning of the brain and nervous system.

Strawberry leaves contain tannins, bio-molecules that bind proteins, amino acids, alkaloids and compounds with a low pH that may place excess stress on your digestive system. Strawberry leaves may help to prevent upset stomach, and reduce symptoms of nausea, bloating, stomach cramps and diarrhea.
